Booster Seats Can Be Deadly
As a loving and caring parent, how you wished you'd spend all of your time with your son and daughters, you love to always play with them, spend time with them, bond with them, and always keep them company. Hence, you carry them wherever you go, and you bring them on trips through your car.
However, in the outside world, you'll never know what may happen, and if you bring your child with you all the time, you'd most likely put them in danger rather than keeping them safe at home. While you want to be with your kids and have fun with them, you also want to always make sure they are safe with whatever they are doing, even while traveling.
Several studies have reported that as numbers of cars and car owners are continuously increasing each day, one of the primary causes of children's accidents and deaths are due to a car crash. This is so because when a car accident occur, a child whom is the more vulnerable than adults, would most likely obtain the largest impact, and as dependent as they can be, they cannot help themselves to survive. Hence, putting an end to the life of an innocent little angel.
Accidents – they happen even when you least expect them. Well, that's why they are called accident, they are unexpected and undesirable events. Obviously, no one wants them, except when the term is used for “accidentally bumping into your crush.” Kidding aside, accidents are often unwanted, yet they come though they were never welcome. You won't know when they would happen to you, so it is recommended that you'll always be prepared and alert.
Preparedness doesn't mean you'd just sit there, wait and accept this unwanted event. Preparing means fighting against accidents, being always ready to counterattack them, or if not, even as simple as avoiding them, or being one of the fortunate survivors.
Because children are still largely dependent on adults, they can't do these preparations all by themselves. Thus, as a parent, this is one of your tasks. You don't want to bump into an accident, and regret in the end that you have failed to prepare the security of your children.
Booster seat is one type of a child car seat, and it is widely known in the market, and most of the parents use them to protect their children from probable danger. They trust their children's life on this piece of equipment. Not until an emotional video was uploaded on You Tube by a mother of a 3-year old kid named Kyle. In this video, she blamed the death of his young child to the malfunction of her child's booster seat.
During the car accident they had on May 2005, Kyle was seated in a booster seat, which she thought would protect her child in such cases. However, it had functioned otherwise. The seatbelt was buckled but upon impact it unlatched.
Because of her experience in losing a child, Kyle's mom urges parents to keep their child in a 5-point harness seat as long as possible rather than moving them to boosters. A 5-point harness provides more security and protection to your lovable kids. A Britax car seat or a Maxi-Cosi car seat are very positive choices for a parent who wants to keep their child safe...very safe!
Need help identifying an old playground swing?
In the 70's/80's, I remember using the swing set at the city playground, and I haven't seen anything like it ever again. It was a big metal structure with bent-tubing seats that we in the shape of a roller-coaster seat. Then there were 2 handle bars that came down vertically in front of the seat from above. As you would pull the handles back, it would almost double your momentum. They were great and I'm trying to find something like that again. Can anyone help? If I remember correctly, the seats were made of 1.5" bent tubing, like a roll cage. I believe they were red painted or powder coated.
I totally had one of those as a kid! It was like a metal cage where 4 people could sit in mine, but it was fun swinging in it alone! They are tough to find since they now use PLASTIC for everything.
but I'll help you out and find some sites that I think is similar to what you are talking about.

What does one consider about a thing as inert as a seat bag when preparing to
review it? Does the seat bag hold stuff securely and with minimal rattling or
damage? Does the seat bag stay on the bike and not fall off without warning?
Does the seat bag mount to the bike in a [...]
