Avoidance not Evasion - the solution to Speeding Fines
Everybody wants to avoid them. However, it's pretty easy to start speeding and before you know it you end up with a fine. Today with all the cameras out their monitoring the roads in the UK, it is especially important that you are careful about speeding or you'll end up with quite a few fines, some points on your license, and you could even lose your right to drive at all. One of the best things you can do to avoid speeding fines is actually to understand the reasons that you speed in the first place. There are several common and basic reasons that people end up speeding. Just work out what they are are, and then you can start working towards a resolution to avoid the speeding fine. These are the most common reasons people speed, and how to avoid them in the future.
Reason #1 - The Speed Limit Changes - One of the main reasons that people end up speeding, is because they dont notice that the limit has changed, and after all its a limit - not a mandatory rule. On many of the roads across the UK, you'll find that the speed does change from time to time. On many roads the speed limit actually changes, and it is, unfortunately, easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. Before you know it you end up being pulled over and given a ticket for speeding, and you never even realized you were doing something wrong. There are many people that end up paying fines because they didn't notice a speed change.
The Resolution:
If you are not the most observant driver and notice speed changes, there are other things you can do to mitigate this, and avoid speeding fines. Never get complacent, always look out for road signs. Instead of paying so much attention to everything else, keep watchful for speed limit signs and also keep an eye on other vehicles around you. When you notice other vehicles slowing down, it may be because the speed has changed.
Reason #2 - You need to concentrate on Drivining - Again, high in the list are people's careless attitiude to concentrating whilst driving. Unfortunately, the quality and comfort of cars today make it all to simple to travel from a to b, without having to pay that much attention to actually driving. There are many distractions, such as listening to the radio, thinking about something important, or even talking to someone in the vehicle. Keep focussed on the driving, beecause if you let yourself become distracted you'll be getting a ticket before you know.
The Resolution:
How can you fix this problem? Remember, concentration is a key aspect when driving, even after you pass your test - if not more so. Try to avoid things that take your mind off what you are doing. Pay attention to your speed. Simply glance to the speedometer and check regulary how fast you are travelling. This way you don't just go speeding off, and end up with a hefty speeding fine.
Reason #3 - Road Aggression - This is one of the key reasons why people end up speeding today. If you are upset or annoyed, its easy to speed without realising. If you get stressed, you are liable to speed - so be cool, calm and relaxed. When you are feeling more aggressive or you are in an angry state of mind, chances are you are going to go faster and you may just end up with speeding fines for that anger, which definitely won't make your day go any better.
How to Fix It:
The answer is simple - if you aren't calm, dont drive. After all, getting a speeding fine is not going to make things better for you. Number one rule is not get mad and keep a cool temper if you are driving. This may not only result in a speeding ticket, but driving aggressively could get you in bigger trouble, or even in a bad vehicle crash.
Reason #4 - Running Late - Running late is one of the big reasons so many people end up speeding around. They end up speeding just to make it a few moments earlier, when in fact in trying to drop the kids off or make it to work, they have endanged the lives of others, and incurred a speeding fine - is it really worth it. Before they know it they are speeding along trying to make it on time, and then comes the bad part - the speeding fines.
The Resolution:
Sadly something so simple is often the reason people end up getting a fine for speeding. It's easy to get in a hurry when you are running late. The better option is to leave on time or make sure you have a few minutes to spare. If you think you are going to be late, pull over and call ahead, as this will avoid the speeding fine and keep you cool, calm and collected. I'm sure you'd rather pay the fine, than end up being in a serious accident, when you are simply trying not to be late.
Reason #5 - The Road Seems Deserted - Dont take this as an excuse to speed, you never know who is around the corner. Ignorance isn't bliss - dont speed simply because it looks safe. Well the speed cameras don't turn off at night, and you never know when someone is setting a speed trap. Never think its okay to accelerate - the speeding ticket is just waiting for you to do so.
How to Fix It:
Speed limits are set for a reason, and even if you don't think they apply, they still need to be adhered too. You don't know what you are going to meet up the road. You'll avoid speeding fines if you always drive according to the speed limit, no matter how many people are on the road or how safe it may seem.

Newt Gingrich's Immigration Plan Gets a Whole Lot Less "Humane" (New York Magazine)
When Newt Gingrich first debuted his outlandish "don't-throw-11-million-
people-out-of-the-country" plan in the Republican foreign policy debate, he
said he was ready for a backlash. After all, in 2004, he signed a letter in
support of full-blown amnesty. "I'm prepared to take the heat for saying let's
be humane," the former Speaker shrugged. And in the weeks since, heat he has
taken.
Herman Cain took a shot -- albeit a confused one. Michele Bachmann followed up
with a series of disses on Fox & Friends, and released a statement slamming
Newt's plan as "more evidence indicating that Newt Gingrich is the most
liberal GOP candidate." David Frum said Gingrich's plan would crush American
wages. And leading right-wingers in key primary states lined up to criticize
any sort of immigration soft touch. When your only supporters are the left-
wing media and Donald Trump calling you "compassionate," you know you have a
primary problem.
A man who has been in politics as long as Newt surely knows that there are
three time-tested ways to follow up on remarks that "take the heat": you can
say you were quoted out of context; you can bravely double-down on your
principles; ...
