Which is warmer nylon or polyester?
It's about 50F or less outside and I'm going out on a fast bike ride. So i need something that will not let wind through it and keep heat in. I have two long sleeve shirts:
The first is a surfing rashguard that has 88% nylon and 12% spandex. It has a tight knit.
The second is a 100% polyester shirt that i bought for skiing. The knit is a bit more open than the rashguard.
I already tried the Rashguard in slightly warmer weather (about 55) and it went fine, I just wanted to know if the polyester would work better. I'm worried the more open knit of the polyester will let too much air through.
I will have a short-sleeved cycling jersey on top, so I'm really concerned about my arms.

I THINK THE POLYESTER SHIRT WOULD BE WARMER, POLYESTER DOSEN'T REALY BREATH, IT HOLDS IN THE HEAT.
