Review - Arai Profile
Arai is the only motorcycle helmet manufacturer that offers its helmets in different internal head shapes. Here is our Arai Profile Review.
The Arai Profile Helmet is a Long Oval head shape as opposed to the now discontinued Quantum II being a “round head” fit. The Arai Profile caters to riders with long oval shaped heads who get pressure points on the forehead from intermediate oval helmets. In Europe the Arai Profile helmet is known as the Arai Viper GT.
The shell is Arai's Complex Laminate Construction which is a fiberglass composite that is strong and light, allowing the use of softer, less-dense liner fabrics for excellent comfort. The dual intake & dual exhaust ventilation system flows a ton of air when riding in a medium upright position, keeping your head cool and dry. The brow ventilation system flows cool air to the upper face area with vents at the upper faceshield, without compromising the strength or protective elements of the helmet. The liner is antimicrobial and anti-bacterial, fully removable and washable as well as the cheekpads. The removable breath guard and chin curtain help to prevent fogging by deflecting breath away from the shield.
The Arai Profile uses infinite adjustment system for raising and lowering the visor.
The helmet vents extremely well. There is a vent directly over the mouth that goes a long way towards preventing fogging. Arai integrates a brow vent into the top of the visor. Some riders report that they can feel the air moving though the helmet just walking around.
The Arai Profile helmet is a very well made, comfortable quiet helmet designed for riders with long oval head shapes. The Arai Profile is profoundly quiet when all vents are closed.
The helmets are all hand made in Japan and the attention to quality is unmistakable. The paint, engineering, finish and fit are all top notch. It is a relatively light helmet.
Overall the Arai Profile is a terrific premium helmet for those riders with long oval heads. The workmanship, features, quality and performance are all up there.

FFS (Free Flow System): Arai’s unique FFS design works with the pull-down spoiler and integrated neckroll design to further reduce wind noise and turbulence while increasing the exhaust of hot air from the facial area.
