Wind Power Generators
There are a number of kinds and names for wind power generators. It is a device that transforms mechanical energy of transporting air into usable energy to another place . The oldest wind turbines are windmills, which turn the energy of wind into mechanical energy for pumping water, crushing grain, etc. These are still in use nowadays.
Wind generators or wind turbine generators (WTG) are the latest kind of wind turbines at the present . Electricity is changed from them moving energy of wind, hence the word “generator”. Horizontal-axis wind turbines or HAWT is the form of wind generator used today. It has a tower supporting an electrical generator from which a shaft is turned by the blades.
